Patricia's Story

Jimmys show was absolutely amazing and I can't wait for August 7th.

He spotted my Jimmy tshirt while singing and pointed at it and later he came and shook hands with some of us in the front row while singing Long Haired Lover. I managed to take a few photos and a man came and asked me "do you mind not taking any photographs"!!

I couldn't help but notice how much Jimmy looks like Merrill and he even moves the same on stage if you know what I mean?

After the show I met Jimmy at the backstage door  and he was happy to pose for some photos with me which Ben took. I introduced Ben to him and he called him and said "Ben, come here and join us, don't stand there on your own" and he shook hands with Ben and said "it was nice to meet you Ben and it was lovely to see you singing along to my songs".

Jimmy signed my Jimmy Hanky for me and I had a spare one which I gave him and he said  "shall I blow my nose in this?" He's gonna put the hanky with his collection!!

He had another look at my Jimmy tshirt which I think he was fascinated by and he said "that was me in another world." He really is a lovely down to earth fella!!

It made my day, week and year meeting him - we've been through some difficult times lately and Jimmy really cheered me up , he's my hero and he's a real showman and I love him to bits!!
